Byron Nelson Classic
The
Byron Nelson Classic raises more money for charity than any other PGA
tour event. Proceeds from the event go to the Salesmanship Club and Youth
Family Centers (SCYFC). The tournament, which takes place in May, is named
after golf legend Byron Nelson. The tournament draws over 200,000 spectators

Cotton Bowl Stadium
The
Cotton Bowl Stadium, located at 3750 Midway Plaza Blvd. in Fair Park,
has 68,252 permanent seats. The Cotton Bowl, which began in 1937, draws
television fans nationwide and a sell-out crowd. Cotton Bowl Stadium also
hosts concerts, rallies, international soccer, and tournaments. Tickets

Dallas Burn
Dallas
Burn is one of ten Major League Soccer (MLS) teams in America. Dallas
Burn plays in Dragon Stadium, located on Kimball Avenue in Southlake.
Ticket packages start as low as $78, and some individual tickets only
cost $13. It is recommended that soccer fans call far in advance to purchase

The
Dallas Cowboys, often referred to as "America's Team,"
are beloved by Texas and fans across the nation. The NFL team, Super Bowl
Champions many times, is as famous for its cheerleaders as it is for football.
The Cowboys play in Texas Stadium, located at 2401 E. Airport Freeway.

Dallas Mavericks
The
Dallas Mavericks are the city's NBA team. The $420-million American
Airlines Center, located at 2500 Victory Ave., is the basketball team's

Dallas Sidekicks
The
Dallas Sidekicks are part of the World Indoor Soccer League. They play
June through October at the Reunion Arena. Individual tickets are available

Dallas Stars

Dallas Stars are part of the NHL. They play in the American Airlines Center,

Lone Star Park
Lone
Star Park is a premier horse racing facility. The park, which seats 8,000
people, includes concession stands, bars, a first aid facility, and gift
shops. Dining facilities with excellent views of the racetrack are available.

Mesquite Championship
Rodeo
Those
searching for authentic cowboy fun should visit the Mesquite Championship
Rodeo. The rodeo takes place in the ultra-modern Resistol Arena. The arena,
located at 1818 Rodeo Drive, is air-conditioned and covered. The rodeo
takes place on weekends, April through October. Admission costs $10 for
adults, $7 for senior citizens, $4 for children age 12 and under, and

Texas Motor Speedway
The
Texas Motor Speedway features NASCAR, Indy, and motorcycle racing. The
speedway has a 150,000-person capacity. Texas Motor Speedway is located
